Conservation Landscapes

A Platform Approach to Conservation

Chari Ranch Wildlife Conservation is not centered on a single property, but on the broader mission of identifying and transitioning ecologically significant landscapes into protected conservation environments.

Landscapes Under Evaluation

We evaluate landscapes that demonstrate:

  • Corridor/ecosystem connectivity value

  • Threatened or endemic species relevance

  • Feasibility of durable protection mechanisms

  • Long-term stewardship viability

  • Community and stakeholder alignment potential

Geographic Focus

Current evaluation efforts are focused on high-biodiversity regions, including priority conservation landscapes within Southern Africa and other ecologically significant areas where long-term land protection is viable.

Responsible Transition Model

Each landscape is assessed through a conservation-first framework, prioritizing ecological integrity, appropriate governance, and durability of protection mechanisms over commercial development.
